Support
We provide safe, comfortable housing in apartments, food, clothing, and daily necessities for women and children in Nogales, Sonora, waiting for their CBP One appointment to request asylum in the US and for recently deported families. Our apartments can accommodate up to 24 people. We also help asylum seekers and recently deported people pay for rent and utilities in rentals across the city, as our accommodations are often full.
Volunteers visit our apartment guests weekly to provide ESL classes, arts & crafts, and emotional support.
We help recently deported people who decide to stay in Nogales find jobs, enroll their children in school, and start their new lives. We also help with transportation costs for those who decide to return home or relocate to other areas of Mexico.
